FAQ About Temporary Sharing

What happens when the time expires?
Files are permanently deleted from our servers. The download link stops working, and the data cannot be recovered by anyone including us.
Can I extend the expiration time?
Free transfers have fixed expiration times. If you need longer access, simply create a new transfer with a longer expiration window.
Is temporary sharing secure?
Yes. The temporary nature actually enhances security - files don't exist long enough to be compromised. Combined with encryption, this is one of the most secure transfer methods.
Can recipients download multiple times?
You can configure transfers for either single or multiple downloads. One-time download links provide maximum security.
Do you keep any backups?
No. Once deleted, files are gone permanently. We don't maintain backups or archives of temporary transfers.
